February was cold. It took a lot of motivation to bundle up and leave the apartment most mornings and this Sunday we just decided to stay in. Since we still wanted to do something fun and "new" on our Sunday, we decided to bake bread. Though we did bake bread for the first time in the Fall, we decided it was a new activity in 2007. It actually takes a long time to make: mix dough ingredients together, kneed for 5-10 minutes, put in bowl and let rest 90 minutes, break dough in half, kneed some more, put in baking dishes and let rest 60 minutes, kneed some more, shape dough, bake for 45 minutes per half. It really did take most of our Sunday.
The bread was practically gone faster than it took to bake!
Cody was really hungry after a long day of doing nothing.
