Wyoming Wedding!

Soon after arriving in NYC, Molly and I had a wedding to attend to in Wyoming. Aaron, my good friend from home, was getting married and we had to be there. It proved to be a long fun weekend with lots of old friends and booze. Kotts, another friend from home, flew in from Alaska, and the rest of us from all over the states.
We took up residence at Sleepy's travel lodge in the heart of Laramie and went straight to the Ranger for beers. Everyone was in fine form, except for me. After two weeks moving and another long week or so in the city, I was tired. This trip proved a way for me to catch up on my rest. There was a lot of sleeping! Of course Kotts constantly reminded me that I would get all the sleep I need when I'm dead, but he was just doing his job as official party machine, MPK3000. It was a great wedding, one of the best I've been through, and the friends were great.

Kotts was in fine form at the rehearsal dinner, he may have drank more beers than a man twice his size, and was still the only one on the dance floor.

Luke, Aaron and Kotts, before Aaron heavily armed all of his groomsmen and ushers with large hunting knives. Which may or may not have been a good idea. But the gift proves useful on the subway everyday (No, I don't really carry the knife).

Hunter and Curtis, oh the love!

Later on in the evening, the roof of the motel seemed like a good place to spend some down time. This is Molly, Luke, and the fireman whose name I never remember. Sleepy's roof was also the scene of Kotts' brush with the long arm of the law. Good thing Bob and Aaron were there to talk him down.

This was the Nubbers' first time in a Tux. Ladies man? More than you would ever believe. I just look oh so dashing. Notice the color of the vest is prairie gold.

Becky and Aaron, suppose we had to have one wedding shot.

Like I said, Ladies man!

They look nice, till they open their mouths and out comes the most foul things ever said by man! Cowboys football games this fall will be good times.
We ended the trip back home in Steamboat, where we hung out with the folks and saw most of the town at the big party Aaron's parents thew. Bob broke out a box of cigars for all of us. We stunk up the tent and drank beer on that cold rainy night until Kotts, Aaron and I were the last people standing. It was a great night out in the open with a nice warm fire. The next day I was headed back to the city, not to return for six months.
